My Little Girl

My little girl just turned four. I can't believe that she is four. It just seems like yesterday I was giving birth to her and holding her. She had her first birthday party with friends. We rented a bounce house and had lots of fun playing and enjoying the nice weather. It was a little warm and the kids kept going into the house to cool off or going into the play house that is outside. It was quite a success for it being our first party ever. Here are pictures to show you just how much fun they had.

My very first ever elaborate cake. Pretty good for a first time. It did take me three tries to get a cake out of the pan. Not fun having to make five cakes just so I could have a perfect rectangle cake.

The bounce castle we rented. It was a good deal compared to Sweet Jumps. Sweet Jumps is much more expensive then the place I rented this bounce house from.

All the kids from the party. They were waving to a balloon that got swept up into the wind.

The kids kept going into the playhouse because it was cooler (temperature wise) then the bounce house. It was really hot that day. I guess the party shouldn't have been as long as I planned.

Kids having a blast!

All in all I think the party was a great success. I think for Skyler's birthday we will have a friend or two over not a whole crowd. I ended up sleeping all day the next day. Between painting and getting the first floor ready for new floors and planning and making Kaitlyn's cake I was wasted after that party. Next week is going to be the same. Need to paint kitchen and dinning area and then on Saturday we have to rip all the floors up so that on Monday the 28th they can start to install my floors. So excited! But also going to be so tired afterward. Enjoy!

Your family pictures are great! Your kids are so cute! I can't believe Kaitlyn is 4 years old. Hayden will be one in a month and I can't believe that. Sounds like life is treating you well.
