I think my youngest looks a lot like her sister but then again all these pictures look similar. It will be fun to compare pictures of all my kids in the next few months.

Melanie Jayne

Melanie Jayne was born on June 29th 2012. She weighed 9 lbs 14 ounces. I had to be induced on my due date because I had high blood pressure. I think it was Heavenly Father's way of getting her out before she got too sick. She swallowed meconium in the uterus before the broke my water and it was in her lungs and had we waited a few more days she might have gotten pneumonia and had to be sent to Primary's in Salt Lake. So Heavenly Father helped by allowing me to have her on her due date so we wouldn't have to spend two weeks in Salt Lake. It was bad enough that I couldn't hold her for 6 to 8 hours after she was born. It was awful to see her hooked up to an iv and all sorts of machines for the first three days of her life. Dan gave her a blessing and after that Melanie started to get better. It took three days but she got better and we got to go home.  Melanie is doing great. She is a really good baby. At night she sleeps 3 to 4 hours between feedings, so I am managing to get enough sleep to manage the other three kids. Dan has been wonderful. He is working from home so that if I need help he can be there.
She does not like her carseat but she did stop screaming before we got home and I was able to snap this before she started screaming again. This kid has got a set of lungs. She is very much like her brother Skyler. He came out screaming bloody murder.  Her scream is very much like his, the only difference is Melanie like to cuddle and Skyler didn't so it makes it more manageable. She doesn't use her terrible scream to often now that we are home and she isn't hooked up to monitor's. She hated being hooked up to all those machines.

She loves her Daddy!

Isn't she cute. She has such pretty skin.

Grandma Erickson with her little Melanie

She is a prima donna just like Kaitlyn.

Grandma Devenport with her little Melanie

Kaitlyn loves her baby sister. She always wants to hold her and help. Its so different having older kids with a baby. Its actually a little easier. I like it better.

My two little girls.

Naptime

Its very rare that I was able to snap a picture with her eyes open. Isn't she adorable.

Zoo time

My friend, Sarah Young  and I decided that we would go to the zoo one last time before I had my fourth child. We picked the best day to go because it was semi cold and kept most people away from the zoo that day so it wasn't as crowded. We were able to see the new part of the zoo they just finished. I thought it was gonna be months before we got to see it because I didn't want to go to the zoo if it was crazy busy. But like I said it was the perfect day to go.
Yes I am aware the Charity's eye are closed but it was the best one I had of the three older girls.

My handsome little boys!

All of Sarah and my kids. There were so many new places to take pictures and the kids seemed more into the new statues they put up then the rest of the zoo. I swear we spent at least 5 minutes at each new statue.

They kept fighting over who got to sit next to the seal head. So we had to let each kid have a turn, which is probably why it took so long to get to the animals.

The polar bear was being stubborn so this is what we got to see of the polar bear. Its statue.

My friend bought this awesome pass that gives you free unlimited rides. She had three guests on her pass plus her kids on her pass so we were able to ride the carousel many times. Plus since the zoo wasn't busy we didn't have to wait in line. The kids thought that was awesome being able to ride it like 8 times in a row. Even though by the end of it, it was freezing.

I can't believe how big she is. I can't believe she is gonna be 7 in a couple of months.

"I am cold but I am having way to much fun to go home"

We actually got to take pictures on the elephant because there was no line to wait in to take pictures
Aaron is the only one of my kids that didn't want to get up on the elephant. Or maybe he did but I think my battery may have died. I can't remember.

Princess Ballerina

Kaitlyn's ballet company put on a ballerina princess day in Tooele County. They had all sorts of princesses there. As well as activities for the girls to do. They had so much fun.

Here is Kaitlyn with her best friend Charity and Giselle from the ballet they performed in May.

They got to make those crowns and dress up like princesses.

I am not sure which princess this is but don't they look cute.

The girl, Kaitlyn and Charity are standing next to is a helper in their class as well as Kaitlyn's Kindergarten's teachers daughter. Kaitlyn loves Mallory. Its sad they she won't get to teach Kaitlyn again next year since she will be in a new class.

Happy girls!

This Kaitlyn's ballet teacher, Ms. Sara.

I think this is suppose to be Cinderella.

Aaron

It didn't seem fair that the other kids got a post all to themselves so I thought I would post a few of Aaron.

He finally learned how to ride his bike. Now that is all he wants to do. I am just glad he is using it now, since I did buy it brand new. The other two had used bikes. This kid is spoiled.

He kept wanting me to take his picture just so he could see what it looked like.

He is trying to lasso the tree.

After several attempts he lassoed the tree. He was quite happy about it.

Aaron wanted to make sure his teddy bear was safe so he buckled the teddy bear in with him. He is quite the silly kid. At least its not a barbie. I think we might have gotten over the girl stage he was in.
