My Little Girl

My little girl just turned four. I can't believe that she is four. It just seems like yesterday I was giving birth to her and holding her. She had her first birthday party with friends. We rented a bounce house and had lots of fun playing and enjoying the nice weather. It was a little warm and the kids kept going into the house to cool off or going into the play house that is outside. It was quite a success for it being our first party ever. Here are pictures to show you just how much fun they had.

My very first ever elaborate cake. Pretty good for a first time. It did take me three tries to get a cake out of the pan. Not fun having to make five cakes just so I could have a perfect rectangle cake.

The bounce castle we rented. It was a good deal compared to Sweet Jumps. Sweet Jumps is much more expensive then the place I rented this bounce house from.

All the kids from the party. They were waving to a balloon that got swept up into the wind.

The kids kept going into the playhouse because it was cooler (temperature wise) then the bounce house. It was really hot that day. I guess the party shouldn't have been as long as I planned.

Kids having a blast!

All in all I think the party was a great success. I think for Skyler's birthday we will have a friend or two over not a whole crowd. I ended up sleeping all day the next day. Between painting and getting the first floor ready for new floors and planning and making Kaitlyn's cake I was wasted after that party. Next week is going to be the same. Need to paint kitchen and dinning area and then on Saturday we have to rip all the floors up so that on Monday the 28th they can start to install my floors. So excited! But also going to be so tired afterward. Enjoy!

More Summer Fun

"I love swimming!"

So cute!

They don't know whether to stay in the pool or come out.

Skyler got a haircut and looks more like his daddy everyday.

Waiting for the lifeguards to come back on duty.

Having fun in the kiddie pool in the indoor pool. 5 bucks to swim for how every long you want. What a steal!

Super cute baby! He is so kissable.

My adorable family

Isn't my baby super cute. He has a a tooth now but I can't get him to show it to me. This kid is going to be the death of me. He is only 7 months old and he is trying to climb up the stairs and he is trying to walk. I am doomed. His brother was fast and he is a handful. Now Aaron is doing things he shouldn't do yet and I have to keep an even more watchful eye on him. He is going to be keeping me on my toes.

A day of play

Not really sure whose house to call it. So I'll just say we went to Brigham and hung out with family. It was such a nice day to be out of the house. It is always good spending a day with the cousins because then the kids sleep really nice that night. Okay that isn't all. The kids really love playing with their cousins. Just look how much fun they had. Between Jen and I, we almost took 300 pictures.

Tanner and Skyler are so cute. Don't they look like they can be brothers.

Brooklyn loves babies.

They climbed up on the playhouse and started posing and asking Jen and I to take pictures.

Isn't my sixth month old cute. There is no way to stop this baby. He is crawling everywhere and I can't seem to get him to stop. I can't hold him any more very often because he is usually crawling up me.

They love hugging each other. Now that Kaitlyn is older, Brooklyn and Kaitlyn play more together.

Kaitlyn is super cute. She didn't even swim in the pool with the goggles. She ran around the yard with the goggles on.

So many toys so little time. It was a great day to play outside. Warm but not too warm. The right amount of wind to make it bearable to be outside.

I don't actually think they played golf. At least they didn't hit any one with them.

"We are flying! Wee!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So much energy. I wish we could bottle it up and sell it. We could make a fortune.

A Day With My Boys

I had the greatest day with my boys. I sent Kaitlyn to her Grandmother Erickson's house so that Skyler and Kaitlyn could get a break from each other. Skyler, Aaron, Dan and I went to the zoo and rode the train, the carousel, and roamed around the zoo looking at the animals.

Skyler loves his ice cream cone. No matter how little the cone is he manages to get every where.

He actually asked Daddy to take a picture of him. I can't believe he is going to be three soon. The time has flown by.

My boys. Aren't they so handsome.

At the zoo, they had a week old baby giraffe. Isn't he super cute.

Mommy and Baby.

We stopped at the McDonald's because the traffic was bad because of an accident, so we stopped to let the Skyler boy play.

Yes that is another ice cream cone. We spoiled the boy. It doesn't happen often.

He was riding on the hippo on the carousel. He had so much fun.

Mom and baby. Sorry Aaron isn't looking he was interest with all the people around. Such a fun day and it wasn't super hot which made it even more.

Summer Fun

We are having such a fun summer. I haven't been that great carrying around my camera so I don't have a lot of pictures. All in all we have been pretty busy this summer.

It was so dumb, we went to the gateway fountain and I was able to take one picture and then my camera. Skyler and I had fun playing in the fountain. Aaron did to. He gets so mad when the kids are running around and he can't move as fast as them.

Brooklyn and Kaitlyn are becoming closer now that Kaitlyn is getting older.

Silly husband will not sit nicely for a picture.

We are both wearing pig tails. She hardly lets me put her hair up. I take pictures as soon as I am done doing her hair just to have proof.

Such a cute girl. She is going to be a heartbreaker.

He loves swimming.

He is sort of sitting up. He has become mobile though. He is crawling and rolling all over the place. It is not safe to put him on beds and near stairs. Poor kid rolled of my bed. I didn't think he would do that.

Isn't this cute. It was the last day of vacation and this is what I woke up too. Aren't they so cute! I have proof that they like each other.
